Spot o’clock:
A clock you can read without glasses or contacts!

Spot o’clock is a patented method of telling time, inspired by a person with poor vision who couldn’t read her clock at night.

Normally, the first thing people do when they wake up is check the time, but when you can’t see without glasses or contacts reading a bedside clock isn’t possible

Christopher Arabian, an engineer, looked into solving the problem. “If larger numbers look like larger blurs, what is it that you can see?”
She answered, “Only shapes and colors”.

Inspiration!

From that description, Chris devised a method of telling time based on position rather than clarity.
